Shoptiques Hugs New York City #NYFREEHUGS

On Friday, August 24, 2012, fashion e-retailer, Shoptiques, delivered free hugs to people in New York City.  A team of girls and models dressed in hot pink shirts and a large sign saying, “FREE HUGS,” set out in Manhattan to hug anyone that was in Soho, Washington Square Park, Union Square, Times Square, and Columbus Circle.  As a special service, Shoptiques also took orders for hugs!

We at Nubry jumped on the opportunity to deliver as much love as possible to our friends in New York City by “booking a hug.”  We followed the hugs mission throughout Manhattan with hashtag #NYFREEHUGS. This was the first Shoptiques free hugs mission and the company is taking requests to do the mission in another city.  We want them to come to Southern California next so we can send out hugs to our friends locally!

Below, check out pics from the FREE HUGS Shoptiques mission, including hugs delivered to our friends at Stylecaster and Kemble Interiors.  Leave a comment below and tell us what city you want Shoptiques to come to next or tell us on our Facebook page.
