Fashion’s Night Out Boston debuted with a big splash! Mayor Thomas M. Menino agreed to shut down Newbury Street to all traffic; stores stayed open late into the night while providing drinks and edibles; and warehouse parties were held way out in Allston, MA! Let’s focus on the Warehouse party, shall we? Way out in Allston, The Ames Hotel and Smashbox Studios were throwing the Fashion’s Night Out Boston Launchparty at Quixote Studios. As we pulled up to the party, we saw a big warehouse building nestled in a dark street where there was a big open lot surrounded by chain-linked fences. The only reason we knew we had arrived at the correct location is because the lot was filled with other guest’s cars.

Heading into the Quixote Studios warehouse to check things out
We headed inside through a sliding garage door – Brooklyn style – and found a world of excitement filled with suave partygoers. In the middle of the open room dance-floor was The Woodward At Ames pop up bar where endlessly flowing Stoli Vodka drinks were being served. On each side of the bar were pop up lounges with plush leather couches, courtesy of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. Haru Sushi bites were being served all night long, yum! Runway shows were being projected onto high warehouse walls and in another corner a Smashbox photoshoot was taking place.
