Jordan Couture rocked the catwalk at Leonard Simpson produced Leap Into Fashion event at the W hotel in San Diego, CA. Many fashion brands and boutiques in the San Diego area participated in the show that supported Leap To Success, an organization that educates and empowers women to break the cycles of domestic violence and homelessness, in order to reach their greatest potential. Gretchen and I had the honor of opening this special event and felt even more honored to be wearing Jordan Couture silk dresses. There is nothing more outstanding that I could have imagined wearing at this event and I’m telling you, I felt like a millions bucks!
We opened the runway show with many of the models also sporting Jordan Couture including a cheetah painted dress and a Monarch Butterfly painted dress. Jordan creates fashion with a mission of raising awareness and funds for large endangered species. Her collections are sourced with the finest materials, made by hand, and then hand painted.
Gentleman Norman and Laura Martella were honorary chairs and looked respectively handsome and gorgeous in yellow, the color that represents Leap to Success and the theme of the party. Cindy Matalucci of The Pulse SD wore a custom designed Michael Costello yellow gown for her red carpet interviews.
