The 2015 San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival is one of the largest of its kind in the United States.. The week of events incorporates different cuisine from local restaurants and celebrity chefs, hundreds of wineries serving at social gatherings, celebrity chef tastings at The Marine Room, fish taco competitions, and more. “The Lexus Grand Tasting” at the Embarcadero near Seaport Village and The Headquarters at Seaport is the biggest event that takes place on the last day of The San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival. Taking place during the day in November, this is a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the San Diego sun, food and wine, and even games like Cornhole.
At The Lexus Grand Tasting, guests were given unique hors d’oeuvre plates which had cup holders within the plate for easy eat and drink access! The plates made it ideal for socializing whilst eating, drinking, and walking. See below. Throughout the day, attendees were introduced to many new restaurants, craft breweries, and wineries. Be sure to brush up on your wine tips for dummies before your next San Diego wine event. If you’re wondering what guests wore to The Lexus Grand Tasting, anything from pretty sundresses and wide brimmed sun hats to jeans and tees were seen. For a closer look, be sure to scroll down for event photos of the guests, restaurant offerings (like Baked Bear ice cream sandwiches), and scene. Until next year!
