San Diego Charity Ball Benefits Rady Children’s Hospital

Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego hosted their 106th Annual Magic of Miracles Charity Gala for an exclusive group of guests on January 31st, 2015 at Hotel Del Coronado.  See event photos here. This San Diego charity ball honored the box holders and major donors affiliated with the organization, whom together not only worked to benefit the advancement of medical research in the Neuro-Oncology field, but whom have also assisted in the well-being of past, present and future Rady Children’s Hospital patients.

106th Annual Magic of Miracles Charity Ball 2015 was hosted at Hotel Del Coronado.

The charity ball was hosted by Chairman, Roxi Link and Co-Chair, Kristi Pieper. Many astute doctors, researchers and investors of and affiliated with the organization were in attendance. To name a few: Dr. Donald Kerns (President of Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego), Stephen Jennings (Senior Vice President and Executive Director – Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation), Dr. Gail Knight (Chief of Staff and Clinical Chief – Division of Neonatology) and Dr. John Crawford (Director of Rady Children’s and UC San Diego Pediatric Brain Tumor Program).

Over the years, Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego has dedicated tremendous support and research efforts to not only create life-saving miracles for current patients, but to also advance the progression of future cure-driven research solutions. Within this past year alone, the foundation has received over $15 million dollars by way of generous investment. “We are at the cusp of great and significant change. There has never been a time in Rady Children’s history when the power of philanthropy can affect such a profound change for pediatric healthcare,” says Steven Jennings.
