Have you already tried all of the fancy winter nails like candy cane, snowman, snowflake, ombre, lace, caviar, plaid, Minx, and houndstooth? Looking for something totally new and unique? Here, we share one of our favorite, not so complicated manicures, that you can do yourself. It’s easy to get a festive look all winter, without having to sport darker, jewel toned nails, typical of the winter season. The “Winter Wonderland” manicure that we’re showcasing in this nail’s tutorial is not only trendy for winter 2013, it’s also a perfect New Year’s Eve 2013 accessory!
If your Nails Inc Leather nails kit isn’t going to arrive in the mail in time for the New Year – that Alexa Chung recently sported – then you’re going to have to try out these nails! Our Winter Wonderland mani uses China Glaze White on White and China Glaze Twinkle Light glitter polish to create a sparkly, snowy, ombre effect. Below, we show you how to do nails with a Winter Wonderland scape that’s sparkly and glittery. This fabulous manicure was developed by Va Va Varnish, just for Nubry’s readers!

How To Do A Winter Wonderland Glitter Nail Manicure
Step 1: Paint all nails with white nail polish
Step 2: On the fourth finger, use the brush tool with acetone nail polish remover to remove the top part of the white polish, forming a crescent shape.
Step 3: speckle the glitter nail polish on the top part of the nail. Do not do a full paint stroke, just dab dab dab.
Step 4: Dip the tool in Top Coat polish. Use the metal tool to pick up a gold pailette and put one or two on each nail. Also use the red crystals to accessorize the fourth finger. Depending on the pailettes or crystals you use, you will prefer the wood tool or the metal tool.
Step 5: Paint all nails with top coat polish.
